Our Centre
Our fully air-conditioned centre is a unique and special place where children and their families and carers play and learn in safe and friendly surroundings. Enrolling you child with Peter Pan will allow them to gain all the positive benefits that flow from being in a high-quality early childhood learning environment.
Our child care centre provides a focus on early learning and preparation for school, including the Government approved Kindergarten program, as well as the care and nurture so important for very young children. We consider all attributes of the child: physical, intellectual, social and emotional.

We have carefully designed and planned our Centre to thoroughly cater for all the needs of young children and to comply with the latest National Quality Standards and Regulations. The Centre is approved by State and Federal authorities, providing security and peace of mind for families whose children are in our care.
Fully supervised developmental programs are provided for each age group in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework, Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines. Qualified and experienced Educators are carefully selected and trained for each position at our Centre.
General Information
Hours of Operation
7.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday, all year round – closed only on weekends and public holidays.
Age Groups
We are a 62 place centre.
We cater for children from 15 months to 6 years.
The number of children varies in each group depending on the age of the children.
15 months – 2 years 1:4 Educator to child ratio
2 – 3 years 1:5 Educator to child ratio
3 – 5 years 1:11 Educator to child ratio.
Lead Educators in the groups hold an approved Diploma of Children’s Services qualification and where required are assisted by Educators who hold an approved Certificate III in Children’s Services qualification. The Centre is registered by the Queensland Government for an Approved Kindergarten Program undertaken by a Kindergarten Teacher who holds an approved Degree in Early Childhood.
Booking Fee
Once a place is confirmed, we ask for a bond to secure your booking. This is applied directly to your account upon starting.
Daily Fees
The Centre will provide the Federal Government’s “Child Care Subsidy” for which most parents are eligible. This is paid to the Centre which will reduce the weekly gross fees.
The fees payable will depend on the amount of Child Care Subsidy, the number of days booked and the age group of your child.
Applications for Child Care Subsidy should be made with Centrelink on 136 150. If you have not already been assessed, we would strongly recommend that you contact Centrelink as soon as possible if you are likely to require childcare in the near future.
What do we Supply
Our Centre supplies a water bottle, a sun hat, which is laundered weekly or as required, sunscreen, wipes, nutritionally balanced meals to suit dietary and allergy requirements. (These are prepared by a qualified and experienced practising dietician and a team of chefs from “Kids Gourmet Foods”. Meals use only fresh quality ingredients and are free from artificial flavours, colours, additives and preservatives. Food is delivered to the Centre daily).
